The Los Angeles Chargers recently announced their acquisition of international marketing rights in Greece as part of the NFL’s Global Markets Program. The move pairs Greek-American owner Dean Spanos’ franchise with an array of future marketing opportunities and fan events set to unfold in Greece, beginning with a 2025 NFL Draft Day 3 pick announced live from Athens on Saturday, April 26. “The homeland of my family, Greece, has left an eternal imprint on my heart,” said Spanos of the opportunity to grow the Chargers’ brand internationally.
