Over the past two weeks, members of KTE have spent time with Ionian Village on a transformative pilgrimage to venerate holy relics and visit Holy sites in Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Aegina, Patras, Kalavryta, Athens, and Glyfa.
While experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime spiritual journey, we witnessed real miracles and venerated a piece of the true cross that Christ our God was crucified on.
How were we able to participate in something so amazing? Well, for those already familiar with Ionian Village, you know that Greek-Americans have the annual opportunity to spend part of their summer on a pilgrimage organized by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
As alumni of this pilgrimage, we cannot recommend the experience enough to Greek Orthodox Christians from America.
For there you will see amazing things, from holy relics dating back to the first century, historic Greek attractions and sites dating back to the times before Christ, and you will learn how to Greek dance, speak more Greek and feel even more joy in your heart for belonging to the Greek nation.
Δόξα στο Θεό. Thank you, Ionian Village!
